Tokyo Metro 7000 Series Train Arriving at Zoshigaya Station

Recently built stations have platform screen doors. The purpose of the door is to prevent a visually disabled person from falling onto the track. So, half height type door is commonly used. Half height type cannot stop a person committing suicide completely, but the stats shows stations less people commit suicide at stations with half height type doors.
