Truss Beam along Elevated Railroad of Tohoku Through Line

The elevated railroad shown in “New Elevated Railroad of Tohoku Through Line” looked narrow. It seems the space along it is allocated for this truss beam. I do not know its purpose. The beam looks strong, but it is too small to put another elevated railroad on it.

 

Information on web says that a wall will be built to cover along the elevated railroad around Kanda Station. Maybe the truss structure is going to hold the wall.
