Pedestrian Tunnel Entrance at Fuchu-kaido

There is a dip at the center of Fuchu-kaido road. It is an entrance of a pedestrian tunnel to go across the road.

 

Some projects are under way in this area: grade separation project of Nanbu Line, the construction work of Koremasa-bashi Bridge, and work to widen Fuchu-kaido. When those projects finish, the road will have much more traffic and going to the other side will become difficult. So, pedestrian tunnel is being built here.
