Columns along the Shakujii River
I found some documents about this construction work. According to them, the Shakujii River will be moved a few times during the construction of Oji South Exit of Shutoko C2. The work had some flaw, because the temporary river wall was broken on a heavy rainy day in September 2005. Then, a flood occurred again in July 2010. The end of the construction is scheduled in 2015. But does the end of the construction mean the end of flood problem? I do not know.
I think the concrete wall with columns in this photo is permanent. The spot with flood problem exists a few hundred meters ahead.
