Kangetsu-kyo Grade Separated Crossing
This is the other entrance of the tunnel shown in “Underpass below JR Tracks near Fuchu-honmachi Station.” The name plate above the entrance tells this is “Kangetsu-kyo Grade Separated Crossing.” “Kangetsu” means “seeing Moon,” and “Kyo” means “a bridge.” There once was a bridge which was good to see moon here.
The signal over the entrance is used when water flows into the underpass.
