Wavy Surface of Sojiji Crossing
Eleven tracks of JR are crossing against a road here. The gate was almost always closed. Finally, JR East decided to close the gate through 6:00am to 9:00pm.
The letters on the road warn about wavy surface. The road has many bumps because the railroad tracks are on a gentle curve. One rail is always higher than the other rail because of cant.
