Cars on Gas-bashi

Since there are not many bridges across the Tama River, each bridge carries heavy traffic.

 

The Tama River defines the prefectural border between Tokyo and Kanagawa. The sign “111” on the bridge means this is prefectural road 111. So, one may wonder which prefecture’s road 111. The answer is both prefectures assign the same number 111 to this road.
