Bucket Dredger Kumotori
This factory-like ship is a bucket dredger called “Kumotori.” It is the main dredger of “Kumotori Fleet,” which works in Port of Tokyo.
Kumotori was constructed in 1986. It will retire and be replaced with a new dredger this year.
Sand carrier Shunkai No.1 exists behind Kumotori. Only its tail is shown in this photo. The sand carrier is shown in “Shunkai No.1 and No2 at Shinagawa Wharf.”
