The official name of this railroad crossing is “Keikyu Kawasaki (Dai) Crossing No.2.” It means it is the second crossing of Keikyu Daishi Line from Kawasaki Station. But it is often called “Honcho Crossing” after the name of the area.
National Route 409 and Keikyu Daishi Line intersect here. Due to the heavy traffic on Route 409, grade separation is desired, but since the plan to make Daishi Line underground in this area have been cancelled, it looks like this crossing will remain for a while.
