The first photo of this area in Google Street View was taken in 2009. There were not many shops around here at that time. The convenience store with the blue sign in this photo opened in 2020. The supermarket on the north side of this crossing opened in 2012. It seems like the stores opened in anticipation of an increase in visitors as the road was expanded. When this new road is completed, it will connect Meguro to Shin-yokohama. But it will take a long time.
