Keio 5000 Series at the West of Daita-bashi Station
The destination panel of the 5000 series says it is “Mt.TAKAO,” which is a type of Keio’s reserved seat special express train, Keio Liner.
As the name suggests, Mt.TAKAO is a train for tourists to Mt. Takao. When it starts from Shinjuku, it only stops at Meidai-mae, passing through all other stations until Takao-san-guchi Station. Never get on by mistake, or the train will take you to the last stop. The warning message made some buzz on the internet in September 2024.
The train shown in this photo started from Takao-san-guchi Station at 16:15, and would arrive at Shinjuku at 17:09, six minutes after I took this photo.
