Buildings are built right up to the tracks on the south side (opposite side in this photo). In most sections, the new elevated railroad of Keio Line will be built using land on the south side of the track, but at Shimo-takaido Station, the south side will not be used, because there is a Tokyu Setagaya Line platform on the south side. I do not know whether the buildings in this photo will be demolished for the grade separation or not. It will probably be decided by the position of the line that the designer happened to draw in Keio's plan.
