Square in Front of Odakyu Setagaya-Daita Station

The black area is in the shape of a footprint. This is related to the origin of the place name Daita. A well-known folklorist Kunio Yanagida suggested that this place name might have come from the legendary giant Daidarabotchi. There used to be a depression in this area that was in the shape of a right footprint, and people said it was a footprint of Daidarabotchi.
