Tokyu 5000 Series SDGs Train at Tokyu Moto-sumiyoshi Depot
The train has number 5821 at the head. Most of 5000 series we see on Toyoko Line are 5050 series, but this one is a 5000 series. 5050 series is a variant of 5000 series manufactured for Toyoko Line. They can be distinguished by the last two digits of the number: If the number is larger than 50 and less than 80, it is a 5050 series.
Since the train in this photo, 5821, was manufactured for Den’en-toshi Line, its last two digits are “21.” It debuted in 2009 and was moved to Toyoko Line in 2010.
In 2022 February, it was in “SDGs” wrapping. The wrapping was finished in 2023 May.
