Tokyu 5050 Series Train at the South of Tokyu Jiyu-ga-oka Station
The number at the head was “5167.” In 2023 April, two cars were added to the train, and the number changed to 4113 (Ten-car trains of 5050 series are assigned number 4XXX). The newly added two cars are “QSEAT” cars. QSEAT is a Tokyu seat-reservation service: Passengers require to buy a seat ticket to ride in a QSEAT car during peak weekday evening hours. It has been offered on the Oimachi Line for some time, and Toyoko Line started offering it in 2023 August.
Having two QSEAT cars from the start was a bit too much, so from 2024 May, it was reduced to one car.
