Four Odakyu 1000 series assigned to Odawara-HakoneYumoto section of Hakone Tozan Railway were painted in red. It is the color in which Hakone Tozan Railway’s trains are painted. According to information on the Internet, the Swiss Rhaetian Railway, which has a sister relationship with Hakone Tozan Railway, uses this color.
Two of four red 1000 series retired in 2021. The other two retired in 2022. The train in this photo retired in 2022 June.
