Tokaido Line E231 Series Train at Chigasaki Station

The number at the tail was “S-03.” This train consisted of “K-21,” a ten-car train, and “S-03,” a five-car train.

 

Since the E231 series was introduced more than 20 years ago, equipment updates have begun. According to the web, K-21 was updated in Omiya in 2023 February. Equipment on S-03 was partially updated in Akita in 2023 September.
