Odakyu 1000 Series Arriving at Platform No.11 in Odawara Station
The trains owned by Hakone Tozan Railway use standard gauge. Odakyu uses narrow gauge, so in order to provide through-service to Hakone Tozan Railway, the section between Odawara and Hakone-yumoto had three rails to run trains with different gauges. In 2006, the section was operated exclusively by Odakyu trains, and the three-rail section has almost disappeared.
