Track No.7 in Odawara Station
The sign above the platform says this track is for limited express romancecar. Track No.7 is for through-service to Hakone-Tozan Railway section (the section between Odawara and Hakone-yumoto). There used to be more trains for Hakone-yumoto, but most of them were terminated except romancecar. Trains longer than six-cars cannot enter Hakone-Tozan Railway section, while most trains on Odakyu have ten or eight cars. Odakyu maintained the through-service by dividing/connecting trains at Shin-matsuda Station, but such operations make it difficult to take measures when the timetable is disrupted.
The train stopping over there is an E231 series on Tokaido Line.
