JR Narita Line E235 Series Train at Chiba Station in 2021 November
In 2020 December, E235 series started passenger service on Yokosuka Line and Sobu Line. The trains enter Uchibo Line, Sotobo Line, Narita Line, and Kashima Line with through-service.
This photo shows an E235 series on Narita Line. The train, F-13, was the newest E235 series at that time. It debuted in 2021 June. JR East has announced that they would manufacture fifty-one E235 series trains for Yokosuka Line and Sobu Line. Currently, thirty-one E235 series are active.
