mAAch ecute Kanda Mansei-bashi

The left side of this street is elevated railroad of Chuo Line. There once was Mansei-bashi Station here, between Ocha-no-mizu and Kanda. The station was closed in 1943. Then, it was changed to Transportation Museum. After it was closed in 2006, JR East built the building on the right side of the street, “JR Kanda-Mansei-bashi Building.” It opened in 2013. Since Chuo Line on the elevated railroad is active, it was impossible to dismantle it. JR East changed the space under the track to a commercial complex “mAAch ecute Kanda Mansei-bashi.” “ecute” is a shopping mall brand operated by JR East. It is in a station building, most of them are inside of ticket gates. My understanding is that “mAAch ecute Kanda Mansei-bashi” is the first “ecute” that is not in a station building. Maybe that is the reason why JR East does not call it simply “ecute.” As for the word “mAAch,” I do not know its meaning because JR East does not explain it. Probably it is related to the station’s name “Mansei-bashi.”
