Hyakunin Isshu No.21 of Yoga Promenade

The poet is Sosei-hoshi. “Hoshi” means that it is the name of a priest.

 

Although the author is a man, the poem tells the feelings of a woman who waits for a man who says he will come right away but doesn't. Sounds like a pop song.
