Hyakunin Isshu No.1 of Yoga Promenade
Yoga Promenade is a 1.6km long path between Yoga Station and Setagaya Art Museum. The path has some features, such as being paved with unglazed clay used for roof tiles. One of the features is Hyakunin Isshu. Hundred poems of Hyakunin Isshu (Hundred Poems of Hundred Poets) are engraved on the path.
The one in this photo is the No.1 of the poems. The poet is Emperor Tenchi. It is in front of Yoga Station, the starting point of the promenade.
