Odakyu 3000 Series/8000 Series Train at Noborito Station 2
Currently Noborito is the end of quadruple track section. For a long time, the quadruple track section had ended at the north of the station, and track No.1 of the station had not existed. Construction of track No.1 had been delayed because the negotiation to buy the site at the south end of the station was taking long time. Finally, Odakyu decided to shift the platform to the north to build track No.1, and it opened in 2018 March.
This photo shows that height of the roof is different at this end of the platform. That is the newly built part to shift the platform.
The platform door was active. When I took the photo shown in “Odakyu 4000 Series Leaving Noborito Station 7” in 2020 October, the platform doors did not exist. It started the service in 2021 March.
