View on Kyu-Sendai-zaka
Taken 700m east of Oimachi Station. On the elevated railroad is Keikyu Line. The road along it is Route 15. The road crossing against Route 15 is Ring Road 6.5. It has a tunnel to make the slope moderate. I took this photo above its eastern exit.
This slope was called Sendai-zaka. But people started calling a road at the north with the name, and this slope’s name was changed to Kyu (old) Sendai-zaka. However, the tunnel is called "Sendai-zaka Tunnel." It is a little confusing.
