Shutoko Kanda-bashi Junction beside Ryukan-sakura-bashi

The ramp going down is connected to Shutoko (metropolitan expressway) Yaesu Route, which is an underground expressway along Tokyo Station. The expressway above is the main lane of Shutoko Inner-circular.

 

The expressway should be the reason why Ryukan-sakura-bashi was not built on the ground level. The pedestrian bridge had to be built between the ramp and the main lane.
