Umi-shibaura Station is in a factory owned by Toshiba group. So, passengers who do not have business with Toshiba are not allowed to leave the station. Still, people have visited the station to enjoy the sight at the station.
Toshiba made a small park called “Umishiba Park” for sightseers at the southwest of the station. It is different from the park shown in “View of Asahi Canal through a Window of Tsurumi Line 205 Series Train 3.” Maybe Toshiba has many parks along the shore line of the site.
