Space Reserved for Tohachi-doro in 2020 November
This photo was taken at the current western end of Tohachi-doro. The road will be extended for 1.3km toward the southwest, to be connected to Route 20. The space in this photo is reserved for the work.
Tohachi-doro had two unfinished sections for a long time, at the eastern end and the western end. After the section at the eastern end opened in 2019 June, the section at the western end became the only unfinished section. When the road is completed, it will become a bypass road of Route 20.
