Old Station Building of JR Harajuku Station Being Dismantled
The new station building started the service on 2020 March 21st. Dismantlement work of the old building started in 2020 August. A photo of the building taken in 2017 is shown in “Harajuku Station Building.”
JR East announced that the building had to be dismantled because it did not have enough fireproof. A replica building will be built.
