Naka-no-hashi Intersection in 2020 July: 3
There is a yellow and black center divider indicating light at the left edge of this photo. It was on a temporary base in 2020 July. A photo taken in 2017 June “Naka-no-bashi Crossing in 2017 June” shows that there was permanent center divider. In 2018 April, the light on it was removed and a cone was on it (“Naka-no-hashi Intersection in 2018 April”). In 2019 May, the center divider did not exist, and the light was directly on the road surface (“Naka-no-bashi Intersection in 2019 May.”).
The reason of the change is that the road office of Tokyo Metropolitan Government is renewing the layout of the crossing to make traffic smoother. When the work finishes, the center divider will be shortened.
