Naka-no-hashi Intersection in 2020 July
There are two ways to pronounce the name of the intersection. “Naka-no-bashi” or “Naka-no-hashi.” Both pronunciations are okay in Japanese. When the name appears in English text, we have some problem. Recently, I used “Naka-no-bashi” because name plates on traffic signals had it. However, police department changed their mind sometime in 2019. The name plates say “Naka-no-hashi” now. So, I changed the spelling in the title.
