Closed Entrance of Pedestrian Tunnel in Musashi-kosugi in 2019 November
Musashi-kosugi was one of areas that suffered from flooding caused by Typhoon No.19 Hagibis. The area around JR Musashi-kosugi Station was covered by water.
This photo shows the north entrance of a pedestrian tunnel across the Nanbu Line. It was taken one month after the flood. The tunnel was still closed due to damaged electrical equipment. It re-opened at the end of November except the elevators which required complete replacement. They restarted in 2020 July.
