Currently this is the most upstream part of the uncovered part of the Shibuya River.
At the north of this spot, the river is covered. One of sources of covered section is in Shinjuku Gyoen Park. The water in this photo does not come from the covered part. It is used as a trunk line of sewer system, and its water goes to the underground. The water in this photo came from Ochiai Water Reclamation Center.
