Tokyo Metro Ginza Line 1000 Series Train Leaving Omote-sando Station 2
Currently forty 1000 series trains are active. The last two, train No.39 and No.40 are specially designed to be more better copy of old Ginza Line trains. An interesting feature they have is simulation of momentary power outage by the third rail switching. Tokyo Metro announces the feature is not used at normal operation, but at some event.
