The track branches to two tracks a few dozen meters west. Beyond it was Kojima-shinden Station, which was 360m ahead.
The railroad at this crossing became single track in the first half of 2010s to allocate working space to build underground section. A little before it, in 2010, the second track was added to Kojima-shinden Station. Making whole section to single track would be tight restriction for timetable. It seems that two tracks were necessary at Kojima-shinden before making this crossing single track.
