Railway Museum Station

Railway Museum Station is the second station of New Shuttle. The entrance of the museum exists under the elevated railroad of Tohoku/Joetsu Shinkansen. The main part of the museum exists on the other side of the track.

 

The station’s name is written as “Railway Museum (Onari) Station.” When New Shuttle opened in 1983, the station’s name was Onari. Then, the name was changed when Railway Museum opened in 2007. The old name remained in parentheses.
