Elevator in Haijima Station
I have uploaded some pictures of the now-removed longest railroad crossing in Japan. Before removing the crossing, the new way to go across the railroad track must be provided to the pedestrians and the cyclists. The “new way” is the concourse of Haijima Station. This photo shows the elevator to go there. It is large enough for a few bicycles.
The yellow sign at the left wall tells “Get off your bike here.”
It is funny there are three control panels. Probably there is one behind the nearside wall. Since the box is rather large, they put control panel for each wall.
