A cartoon character is painted at the head of the 2000 series. It is LAIMO, a Malayan tapir character from Taiwan.
Seibu and Taiwan Railway Administration signed a friendship agreement in 2015. The first LAIMO wrapping train ran from 2017 March to 2018 March as the second anniversary campaign of the agreement. The train shown in this photo is the second LAIMO wrapping train. The campaign started in 2018 March and finished in 2019 April.
