New Bridge at the North of Shibuya Station in 2018 June

Currently, Saikyo Line Platform is located at the south of Yamanote Line Platform, because there was not enough space along Yamanote Line Platform. Since Shibuya Station of Toyoko Line has moved to the underground, now Shibuya Station has enough space for Saikyo Line Platform beside Yamanote Platform. So, Saikyo Line Platform is going to be moved during re-development of Shibuya.

 

In 2018 May, Saikyo Line service was stopped between Osaki and Shinjuku for two days, and the was set at the north of Shibuya Station was replaced. This photo shows the bottom of the new bridge.
