Some tall apartment buildings in Kawaguchi City can be seen beyond the Arakawa River. The tallest one is Elsatower 55. When the 55-story building was completed in 1998, it was the tallest apartment in Japan at 185.8m. Currently it is the 7th tallest apartment.
