Pokemon Monorail Train Running on New Track
JR-East has “Pokemon Stamp Rally” campaign during summer vacation every year. About hundred stations are involved in the campaign. Each station has a stamp of a monster. Kids travel with JR train all day and collect the stamps on their books. Some stamps are located at Tokyo Monorail stations.
Pokemon monorail train changed the design in July 2009. The stamp rally campaign may be the reason why the train had new paint before summer vacation. If it is true, this painting may be changed soon.
