Pole and Cables of Pole Trailer
This is close-up view of the pole and cables of the pole trailer shown in "Fixing Old Track onto Pole Trailer".
It looks like the wheels of the trailer can be steered to control the truck while going backward. I think the cables are required to control the wheels.
