JASDF C-1 in Yokota Air Base
C-1 is a transport aircraft developed in Japan. Its first flight took place in 1970. The engine was manufactured by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries under the license from Pratt & Whitney. The engine is also used for B727, B737, DC-9 and so on. It looks slimmer than the high-bypass turbofans used by the current passenger aircrafts.
