Eastern Shore of Chuo-bohatei
Chuo-bohatei means "central breakwater" in Japanese. Currently, the garbage produced in Tokyo is sent there. The landfill area is slowly moving to the south. The already reclaimed area is not used well now. The government is planning to build a new wharf at the already reclaimed area. That is one of the reasons why they are constructing Tokyo Port Seaside Bridge between Chuo-bohatei and Wakasu.
This picture shows the eastern shore of Chuo-bohatei. The things with cranes are floating docks. Bridge beam of Tokyo Port Seaside Bridge can be seen behind them. The docks are making caissons used in construction works around Tokyo Bay.
