Power Transformer Facility That Stopped JR Keiyo Line
This is Etchujima Power Transformer Facility. On 2009 July 30th, short circuit caused small fire here and JR Keiyo line stopped for seven hours. I went there and took this picture one month after the accident.
The door on the second floor is opened but the space is closed by a board, and several cables go through the board at the corner. It should have something to do with the recovery work from the fire.
This building exists by Shiokaze-bashi which is a pedestrian bridge across Shiomi Canal. The picture of the bridge "Shiokaze-bashi" also shows this building at the right edge. No cable can be seen at the door.
