Toko-maru in Keihin Canal

The ship was berthing at Higashi-ogi-jima. I took this picture from Chidori Park at the opposite side of Keihin Canal.

Toko-maru is owned by Nanmei Kosan, a group company of Tokyo Electric Power Company. It carries oil to thermal power plants around Tokyo Bay.

The ship seems empty. The hole of the bow thruster can be seen at the nose. Dirty painting of the bottom makes the ship look as old, but it was built in 2000.
