Tokyo Metro Ginza Line Rail Yard in Ueno

Ginza line is the first subway in Japan. Now it runs between Asakusa and Shibuya. When it started the service in 1927, it ran between Asakusa and Ueno. They built a rail yard in Ueno. More than eighty years later, the rail yard is still active at the northeast of JR Ueno station.

Ginza line train does not have pantograph. It takes the power from the third rail. So there is no power line and its supports here.
