Arch on a Pavement over Tachiai-gawa River

Thirty years ago, rivers in Tokyo were dirty. In those days, people covered a river and made the surface into a pavement.

 

The road in this picture should be one of such pavements. The map suggests Tachiaigawa River is running under here.
