"Blue Train" Fuji-Hayabusa near Omori Station

As I wrote in yesterday’s photo description, JR’s express train with sleeping berths is called "Blue Train".

"Fuji" is a Blue Train which runs between Tokyo station and Oita station in Kyushu. "Hayabusa" is a Blue Train between Tokyo station and Kumamoto station in Kyushu. They run between Moji and Tokyo as one train.

Well, I should say "ran" instead of "run". JR terminated them. The last Fuji-Hayabusa ran on March 14. Now we do not have Blue Trains which start from Tokyo station. There are still some Blue Trains which start from Ueno station, for example Hokuto-sei, and Osaka station, for example Nihon-kai.

This picture was taken on March 11, three days before the last run. "Fuji-Hayabusa" is a little far and looks small. Since the Keihin-tohoku line train was going to hide Fuji-Hayabusa, I had to take the picture much earlier than I wanted.
