Construction Site of New Station at the North of Shinagawa Station

The distance between Shinagawa Station and Tamachi Station is 2.2km. It is the longest distance between stations of Yamanote Line. Currently, a new station is being built in the section. It is scheduled to open in 2020.

 

This photo was taken in 2018 February on Route 15, at the western side of JR tracks. The building under construction under the tower cranes in this photo is going to be the new station building.
